Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SoraClear ("the Service"), operated by SoraClear Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

SoraClear provides AI-powered watermark removal for videos, images, and PDF documents. Our tools use machine learning models to detect and remove watermarks from user-uploaded files. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscription and Billing

• All subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@soraclear.app.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

4. Usage Limits

• Each subscription plan includes a specific number of monthly processing uses (images, PDF pages, or videos).
• Starter plan: 50 uses per month. Pro plan: 200 uses per month. Unlimited plan: unlimited uses.
• Usage counts reset on your monthly billing date.
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period.

5. User Content and Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for the content you upload to the Service. You represent that you have the right to process the files you upload.
• You must not use the Service to process content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, or for any unlawful purpose.
• We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content. Files are processed temporarily and are not permanently stored on our servers.
• You acknowledge that removing watermarks from content you do not own or have rights to may violate applicable laws. You accept full responsibility for how you use the Service output.

6. No Guarantee of Results

The Service uses AI models that produce results on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that watermarks will be fully or perfectly removed from every file. Results may vary depending on the complexity and nature of the watermark, file quality, and other factors. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the underlying AI models or source code.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service beyond normal usage.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are using the Service in a manner that could harm us or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoraClear Ltd and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoraClear Ltd from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your uploaded content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
